CoreBrew Lagree: Strength, Stillness and Community in Motion
In a fitness landscape that’s constantly pushing for more - more speed, more reps, more sweat, CoreBrew Lagree is confidently pressing pause.
Co-Founded by Georgie Boyd, this boutique studio is redefining what high-performance training looks and feels like, blending elite conditioning with intention, community, and a much needed invitation to slow down.
At its core (literally and figuratively), CoreBrew Lagree delivers the powerful Lagree method: a low-impact, high-intensity workout designed to build explosive strength, deep core stability, endurance, and joint protection. Through slow resistance and extended time under tension, clients develop serious power without unnecessary strain. The result? Enhanced mobility, balance, recovery, and reduced risk of injury, making it ideal not only for athletes, but for anyone focused on long-term wellbeing.
But CoreBrew Lagree is about more than the workout. Georgie’s inspiration for launching the business came from a desire to create a safe space, somewhere people feel they belong. A place where training isn’t rushed, where community interaction is encouraged, and where slowing down is celebrated just as much as showing up strong.
“Everyone is always in a hurry,” Georgie explains. “We want people to slow down, enjoy this time, and grab a coffee afterwards.” It’s this thoughtful fusion of movement and mindfulness that sets CoreBrew Lagree apart in a saturated fitness market.
As a new business introducing a relatively new form of exercise, standing out was one of the biggest early challenges. While Georgie brings a strong marketing background, she recognised the value of fresh perspectives, prompting her to join the Women in Business Foundations Program through the Adelaide Business Hub.
“I needed help thinking more outside the box when it comes to sales,” she says. “I don’t know everything, and I wanted someone to challenge me and push my mindset.”
Through mentoring and guided support with Amy from The Visibility Project, the program has already helped Georgie look at sales and marketing from a new angle. With expert guidance, CoreBrew Lagree has introduced new class types, currently being trialed, with early signs pointing toward exciting growth ahead.
While it’s still early days in measuring tangible results, the impact on mindset and strategy has been clear. “It’s certainly helping us challenge our thinking,” Georgie reflects. “Sometimes you don’t see all the potential until someone points out a new opening to you.”
Her advice to other business owners considering the program? Jump in early.
“Especially for new owners, get on board. Even if you think you know your space, being challenged in good ways can open doors you didn’t even realise were there.”
With its unique blend of elite training, intentional pace, and genuine community, CoreBrew Lagree is proving that slowing down might just be the smartest way to move forward.
