So, they say you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl…..well, that’s Trish! She’s a friendly, practical, hard-working, what you see is what you get girl!

Having ventured to the ‘big smoke’ after high school, Trish studied and then took a job as Junior Stenographer with a large disability organisation. She quickly moved into a leadership role, and then ‘fell’ into a Human Resources role, and after a while gained HR qualifications.

It wasn’t until about 12 years later, with a toddler at home, that Trish decided to venture into the broader business world. Since then Trish has held leadership roles in large global corporates, not for profits and higher education, in both HR specialist and generalist roles.

Trish has worked across the entire spectrum of HR …..compliance, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, remuneration & reward, coaching, enterprise agreements, information systems, mobility/relocations and work health & safety. And across many industries including defence, manufacturing, horticulture, hospitality, engineering & scientific…even motor racing.

In 2018, with about 25 years of HR experience behind her, Trish decided it was time to revert to small/medium-sized businesses and to share her knowledge. Trish created Solutions To Spec to provide business owners with an opportunity to do what they love….whilst she relieves them of the strains associated with employing staff by providing advice and hands-on support related to all elements of the world of employees.
