Director, Brand Place
A Marketing and Media professional with more than 25 years’ experience including the Publicist / Marketing Manager of ABC Radio South Australia; Product/ Brand Manager Balfours; MBA Lecturer in Marketing, Media, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
In an executive capacity, Lisa is the Founder and Director of Brand Place Pty Ltd., where she provides marketing and public relations advice and services to businesses. As a previous board member with Port Life Church, where she helped build, fundraise and establish the Myanmar Children’s home, in Myanmar. Lisa has worked with the Arts, in particular Patch Theatre Company, in managing the philanthropy and Arts around Adelaide at the ABC. Lisa initiated and helped negotiate strategic alliances in the education sector with Ironwood and Federation University.
Her formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Business in Marketing (CSU) and a Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Adelaide University where she won a scholarship). Lisa has been a member of the Australian Marketing Institute, the Public Relations Institute of Australia and the Association of Development and Alumni Professionals in Education.
Lisa managed and coordinated numerous events some of these include: the ABC Open Day with the Advertiser reporting attendance levels in excess of 20,000 people. She successfully conducted numerous promotional campaigns and events such as various media and Regional Women’s lunches. Lisa played a key role in the development and implementation of Show Radio the re launch of Regional Radio in Australia; The look of the Year Quest, Fashion Parades, Rural Woman of the Year; the Royal Flying Doctors Appeal; 70th Birthday of Radio National; Naidock Week celebrations, Barossa Music Festival; Women in Power and Politics, Surf Life Saving Ironman Challenge Events. 100s of events.
Lisa has been a Radio Announcer with LifeFm and has had media experience in Television, Radio, Press and Magazines. She also lecture’s at university in Media, Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
